To be fair I was only treated badly at Crewe once, and it is too long ago to be able to complain now.
I thought about that but I feel unhappy lying about how I am going to pay, you are stating that you want to pay by cash and that is not true.
A promise to pay is not available to Canterbury in...
I could but this restricts my return times as a ticket from Canterbury allows off peak return travel in the afternoon.
This is something which needs solving, not working round.
The daft thing is that there are 2 reasons why I don't need to use card stock, I would always walk this journey Euston to St. Pancras and I have free travel with TFL anyway.
I know I am not the only one to suffer with this issue, would it not be possible to allow initial issue on bog roll which...
It is far enough on a bus, or a walk which is more than I am capable of and depending on family health I may find I cannot travel so want to buy tickets on the day.
I cannot get access to the ticketing site as I am ex underground and it has not been offered, I would love to be able to buy that way.
I would say good territory is a place like Canterbury, lots of places around 20 miles away where people want to visit and people want to visit Canterbury as well, so dropping off/picking up all the way rather than either picking up or dropping off on any single journey.
Quite possible, I used to do Heathrow to Gatwick via Hampton court in the middle of the night, just to refresh my knowledge for when the M25 was blocked, came in very handy on occasions.
I was paid 4 weekly, I persuaded my bank to take out my mortgage every 4 weeks and not reduce the amount taken, this knocked three years off my mortgage.
Losing £1.2 million is all the more reason for running an adequate service, at many times there is no hope of getting on a tram to travel into town from the north, Management and track costs are virtually the same regardless of the service out. Revenue is also lost because once a tram is packed...
I travel occasionally from Squires Gate to Canterbury.
The ticket has to be on card stock as it is a cross London journey, even though in reality almost everyone would walk from Euston to St. Pancras.
I cannot buy a ticket at the station, as a priv holder, nor on the train as the gurad cannot...
That would work,
As I said upthread this would be a really easy law to enforce. Driver has to get out of vehicle to open gates so easily captured on film, prosecute a few dozen and save a few million in accidents.
I see that the max fine for failing to close gates is a £1000 fine under the
Railways Clauses Consolidation Act 1845.
As far as I can see leaving gates open is not a motoring offence and so generates a criminal record.
It ought to be an easy crime to catch and prosecute offenders. A little...

Is leaving the gates open and offence and if not should it be made endorsable, seems to me that to do this this would be an easy solution to this problem.
a camera capturing number plates and view of the driver opening gates would be all needed.
This could work for all problem user crossings...
Although full contingency is not practical I do wonder if the Ability to run a service to Amersham might be practical, this would provide alternatives for London.
If more information is being provided than I am able to understand then as a BSL user I am being discriminated against, While thinking providing BSL is a good idea these information boards are not there to provide additional info to any minority.
The local butcher used to have steak and kidney on the same tray, it was common to ask for a llb of steak and kidney which would be 75% steak 25% kidney.
