    Tonbridge to Gatwick and return

I am trying to find a resource which shows a listing of all the fares available between these two station. About two years ago the only open return from Gatwick to Tonbridge had to be via London and not Redhill.

Euston closed (power outage) and other stories...

Not having a standby power supply in a major London Terminus shows a complete lack of resillience in that part of the Network. Euston is gloomy on a sunny day and is an architectural monstrosity. If John Betjemnan was still alive I am sure that he would have adapted his Slough poem to describe...

    Future of Class 707

I believe that the spec was drawn up by civil servants at the DfT. Yet again this government department is shown to have no grip on tne reality of railway operations.

    Great Western Compensation scheme

I have repeatedly tried their Twitter team , and I have been told that a Manager will pass it back to their Head Office finance team. . It is coming up to four months since the journey, so very unimpressed!

    Great Western Compensation scheme

What has happened with Great Western and their delay repay scheme? I have a valid claim for a journey in December 2016, but they still have not paid. I keep receiving messages saying that a cheque has been issued but nothing ever arrives. Who can I escalate my problem to?

Liverpool Disruption 28 Feb 2017 - RAIB report released 30/11/17

Is this anywhere near the original 1830s Edge Hill station ? I was wondering about the numerous tunnels built into the cutting sides.Would it be a listed site? https://twitter.com/networkrailliv/status/836995110818758661

    Redhill Station - Extra Platform

That PO conveyor would make a lovely footbridge., with a few ££££ spent on it.

    Birmingham International Airport railway station.

Dvorak, Paul Keogh who runs the airport would be very upset to hear you saying that. He desperately wants HS2 to come to the airport because he thinks that people will flock to his airport because it is now ten minutes closer to London, so would probably go for the airport title. The station...

The left hand end of the broken piece has what appears to be a weld. The break looks quite straight, a fatigue crack?

    Drunks Banned From The Railway?

There is one social media "personality" who it seems cannot travel on a preserved line unless he partakes in a lot of Gin. I wonder how much of an annoyance he and his party are to other travellers? https://twitter.com/mrtimdunn/status/813866787993427972

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

AM9 you have failed to answer the question I asked. In America, the FAA sets the rules for evacuation tests. (The tests in Europe are pretty much the same.) A manufacturer must show that the airplane's maximum capacity of passengers and crewmembers can evacuate the plane in less than 90...

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

Has a full evacuation trial been carried out, as an aircraft manufacturer would be required to do with a new type, or has it all been "modelled"?

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

I can see the deliberate positioning of the door controls as being the base point in an error chain if there has to be an evacuation. Error chains start with design errors or flaws and continue through various criteria to the end user. I hope that the designer has sufficient insurance when there...

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

Do you not think class377/5 that passengers hate being told what to do and they will revert to what they have been used to or what they want to do? The missing items will be a niggle which on a daily basis will become bloody annoying. My biggest niggle is the buttons on internal doors on...
