The 554 service requires a taco fitted bus so it is normaly 16397, sometimes 16355 will apear if it is off for some reason but this is normaly at Penrith, thats why a B10 stands in. Andy

It might well be me: I have only just noticed the timetables for the Boxing Day services in Carlisle, but then I wasn't looking for them as I don't recall there having been any before in the 9 years I have been living here. There was a Boxing day service last year in Carlisle, This is year two.

I think you have to look at the Carlisle Depots buses then and not judge buses from other depots if that is the case then. Reays buses are clean inside and out but so are Stagecoach Carlisle’s. As for the drivers it’s a bit rough judging them if you have not been up here and sampled them your...

For some one raving about how good Reay's were going to be when they replaced all the buses running to Sellafield, and suddenly they pulled them off after a week leaving people stranded and nothing said, you now also believe all what the papers say. mmm

The 75 service is tendered for low floor buses and reays would have put a bid in to take account for the use of low floor services, so they have two low floors for a requirement of two. Workington town services are commercial services so again they properly only have enough for there requirement.
