Failed my drivers assessment today gutted is an understatement ...

I got about 9-10 lines down didn’t miss any but I must have done over 100 pages of dots in preparation

We were told by the assessment centre today. The parts that I passed stay on my file for 5 years so I don’t need to re do those.

Mine was for York there was one other for york and two for Manchester only 2 got through to interview. Mine was a foolish error I passed the dots the memory test and the dials and cables so I don’t need to do those again. They are valid for 5 years and I know what to do in the one I failed now !!

Has anyone been invited to assessment and has anyone usedctbe how to become a train driver DVD the tests are so difficult I’m putting 3-4 hours a day practice in but struggling to pass. I’m hoping the actual tests are not as difficult as the picture memory one is impossible

Has anyone used the dvd available from amazon on how to become a train driver? The tests seem very difficult are the actual tests just as difficult. I found the picture memory test impossible Also the joystick test as some of the patterns are curved and you are using only up down left right

Hi I’m new on this forum and have my assessment next Friday on the GB test do you have to do it left to right or can you do left to right and work back right to left on next line and so on?
