Newcastle E400 19152 made a rare appearance on the 30/1/6 today whilst Slatyford newcomer 19157 was on service X87/X88 , running close to capacity when it left Eldon Square at around 15:20 showing exactly why this route will most certainly be fully Double Deck after the Hybrids are here !

21101 has recently been transfered to Walkergate from South Sheilds and has been running on the X63 Killingworth express today, 21102 & 21103 are to follow soon .

As previously said i too cannot see this entering service any time soon if at all. 26 Enviro 400's will be taken off routes 39/40 later this year with about half of them most probably being transfered to Slatyford after the 22 takes it share at walkergate. Slatyford will likely opt to use...

For anyone intrested , Here's another picture of 19151 on fire in Newcastle. With 26 Enviro 400 Cast offs proabably staying in Newcastle from Routes 39/40 when the Hybrids arrive i doubt we will see this back in action.
