We leave the glorious delights of Grange at 05.03 on the Saturday and whilst my online booking says Waterloo - PMH, my tickets make no mention.
Sooooooo, which is the more interesting route, if I have a choice.?
Hello Sonic
looking at the tickets, its Advance Single GOS-PMH. Route +VWC & Connections. Validity as Advertised & there is no routing/itinerary from London to PMH.
In the near future I'm having a trip out on a Saturday from Grange Over Sands to Portsmouth Harbour with my 4 year old daughter.
On the North to South portion, I've got an Advance ticket which gives me specific trains and reservations as far as Euston, and an Underground journey. But the...

I'm planning a trip to Edinburgh in the near future and it came up with routes and fares that didn't even appear on the websites of the 'usual suspects' -- and the were well priced...
I'd like to offer a thumbsup to Ferdinands CO. I've just booked 10 tickets for a future trip out that are EXACTLY half price of any of the other ticket outlets (incl TPE and they usually work out very well for me).

here you go - Family & Friends Railcard which has to be the best value £28 (or £14 with Daily Mail offer) that I spend each year.

We've managed Dover for the princely sum of £15.70 :D
Dawlish would be a good target for a trip, especially if we can have quick paddle (I had been looking at Plymouth, but hadn't come across the 'right' fare - yet). BTW, what date are you getting £13.60 for ?
I've previously looked at...
in all honesty, if we're heading South, we'll use GOS & we'll maybe start as early as 05.03, but we'll aim to be home a 'touch' earlier, but if we're heading North, we'll start a bit later (7 ish) and ge back on one of the later trains.
She loves travelling by train (& with me :D) and we really...
Aplogies if this is in the wrong section.
I am in the fortunate position of owning a daughter, who's idea of a great day out is to travel as far as possible by train, play of some 'swings' and then return home.:D
We've got a F&F Railcard and I've so far been astounded by just how far you can...
