W It takes ages citybound during busy times and this service must be quicker than the x38 to compete

Extension of the N43 makes sense, although takes longer to get to uphall and broxburn it's better than loosing the night service

No, the 72 is still consistently late

Not really the point is it? It's a valid question that you'd expect at that time in the morning the bus is at its most reliable due to low traffic

I'm probably going to put a complaint ino Lothian Buses but just wondered if anyone knows Lothians policies. My child regularly goes to after school clubs in winchburgh meaning she has to rely on the awful 72 bus to get back to broxburn. Not surprisingly tonight the 72 is running 38mins late...

I think partly the 72 is quiet between broxburn and winchburgh is that its an hourly service and its regularly late. Folk may choose to visit Edinburgh or linlithgow over waiting for a bus that in peak times isn't showing up.

I think it might pick up a few more passengers if it went via park and ride, at the moment there is not many free options for non Edinburgh concession card holders to get Into Edinburgh from P and R
