    I'm not so sure, I've been in 40C heat at Covent Garden during the peak of summer (mid July). The new 09 stock on the Victoria line pump out a lot of heat due to Air Conditioning, but I think they may have solved that. I remember how Oxford Circus used to be very warm on the platforms before...

    The AMS-YUL section is operated by MD-11 if the individual is flying with KLM. I guess all the Canada/US and US domestic services will be mix of 737/757 and MD80 metals.

    Most Likely Now. I remember when the East London Line was part of the LU Network, Shadwell and Rotherhithe retained their steam shafts, but they either blocked them off or glassed them over when London Overground took over.
