I haven't had any problems from staff at Clapham Junction but when I was filming a few trains, A Southern driver leant out his window and said "no cameras" to me... Every other driver I have seen didn't mind at all- if he was camera shy then perhaps being a train driver is not the best job? :|

So are pictures taken, for example from a public footbridge or the lineside, allowed to be published? Seems a bit funny but I suppose they make the rules.

I live on the South West Trains line which uses the 159's and I also sometimes use the First Great Western Line to Bath/Bristol/Portsmouth and I really do notice the difference - Thank God I'm on the SWT Line!

I really dislike high density Class 150's which FGW uses

I hate the 3 car hybrid FGW units, they look so awful with different sized gangways and the locked out cab looks so wrong. I suppose it's the easiest thing to do though if you have surplus units and you need longer trains.
