X52 was reused for the joint Crosville/SWT service from Swansea to Aberystwyth around 1985. The previous Crosville extension of the S52 to Swansea retained that number. By then the original SWT X52 had become X10/610.
We can all hope that after the open toppers have had some TLC over the winter they are more reliable next summer (even if only to cut down some of the comments on this forum).

Where do you anticipate these extra coaches coming from and in particular which services should be reduced or replaced by buses so that your line can have the capacity you argue it deserves?
There are major engineering works in the Bristol area during August with no trains between South Wales and Bristol Temple Meads and diversions for Cross Country services. It is possible trains for 20th August are not in the system yet.
