all of the 377/3's have been transferd to SU from BI so we don't see them down this way now. some of the hastings to vic ,start as 4 car then pick up a 4 car set at eastbourne then a 4 car set at haywards heath. making a 12 car to vic.
how about the stagecoach service that ran from brighton to folkestone. i can't remember the route number but this must have been a long trip. now it only runs from hastings to folkstone.
if you want pre 2001, take a look at stagecoach in eastbourne and hastings they seem to dump there older stuff down this way. or renown in bexhill in the old southdown livery they do not run on sunday's.
i done this way back in the 1960s southdown days . thing it was a guy going to southsea, and a PD3 on the return. by the time we got there it was to come back.

I don't know what the fare is from Luton to London. But you can by DaySave online to use on FCC Thameslink route trains, if travelling after 09.30 on weekdays or any time weekends, the cost is £10.00 per person for unlimited travel on FCC between Brighton and Bedford. Bargain price.

it's got to be the class 58 when they return . and the class 60 just look at all that stock at toton rotting away. emu class 460 when they are split up for swt class 458. class 483 iow stock. class 90 as there are some that have not moved for a long time.
