Trivia: Which stations have numbered platforms which are unserved?

2 platforms on the fast lines at Balham that rarely have anything stop at them. I have only ever used them once and that was when the slow lines were closed for engineering works one Sunday.

For me the most useful has been the new link between Bicester Village (Town) and the Chiltern Main Line.

    Delay Repay

Yes, although only if it's worth it. Maybe £10 and over. I didn't bother the other week when my TFW service was 45 minutes late one way as I would have ended up with about £1.50 back

    Best routes to find Pacers?

Plenty around Cardiff as well, which is only 2 hours or so from London. Had one on a trip from Cardiff Central to Barry Island a few weeks ago, although the other way a 150 turned up.

A better service for Ashchurch (for Tewkesbury)?

I agree with you, this was once my local station, before I moved away. It needs to have an hourly service. The best would be for more Cardiff to Nottingham services to stop as there is a very poor service to Birmingham outside the morning peak. I would also like to see an increase in local GWR...

23% of professional drivers base level crossing decisions on timetable knowledge

Now I plan my way home from work and go a slightly longer way if I finish work at .45 past the hour as I know I will most likely to stuck at a level crossing for up to 5 minutes as 2 trains in either direction are due, but if I finish work 10 or 15 minutes later it's normally quicker for me to...

    Remaining GWR HST Diagrams

An excellent turn out. I'm very glad I made the trip to London and now heading home on board an HST. Loads of people at Reading taking photos as well.

    Remaining GWR HST Diagrams

Although the 18.30 is sold out are there still places on the other 3 HST's tomorrow evening? I was hoping to get on the Hereford service if there is space.

Newport and Swindon just about possible in 10 mins if you walk fast.

Rolling stock that you regret not riding

APT and Class 50's and the 89 for me. I would have travelled from Didcot to Paddington quite a bit in the late 80's and I remember travelling on various 1stGen DMU's and HST's but not Class 50's. I think they were withdrawn from this area around 1991.
