Thanks for that :D , for what little extra it seems to be to travel first class it seems that it would be best doing that. Also most of the trains seem to be Inter Regio trains rather than Intercity, but take roughly about the same amount of time I've noticed.

Looking at EC's website it looks like the Leeds to Kings Cross and vice versa service will be one an hour for at least the next few hours rather than the usual half hourly service.

You might have a pleasant surprise with that one as when I joined I had some already booked journeys added on as well.

What I don't for the life of me understand with XC is that they have had trains running like cattle trucks the past couple of days yet they have at least 2 HST's just gathering dust at depots as far as I am aware. It just seems like madness to me.

Me neither. I don't personally agree with the prosecution of Big Man as they had what appeared to be an obnoxious scrote on there hands who was coming out with vile language and behaviour in the presence of children and as such bundling him off the train was a fair move in light of that for me.

Your right about first class but in standard its only table seats that sockets.
