Thats fair point, i only mentioned it as a thought. Thanks GB, i didnt realise that TPWS activation would have to be reported to signaller. Naturally assuming the OP being somewhere down the train might not be absolutely sure the train was to signal. But as you rightly say if it was the case of stop and go then that rules that out. :)
