Would arriving at King's Cross from Northern land and departing from St. Pancras into the South East count as a single change?
They're two different stations, yes, but on the same tube station and to be honest it's only a walk next door.
I'm quite sure I saw some First group branding partially obscured by foliage on Church & Oswaldtwistle station just round the corner from me.
I'm a car user mainly, but I'm sure this hasn't been First territory in all the years since I moved to Lancashire.
If I had the money and know-how, I'd love to enclose the windows with a large screen and projector and find a way to hook up the controls to a PC interface and turn the whole thing into a simulator.
Pun intended?
I disagree with Merseyrail, sure Morrissey might be a bit of a prick (I do love The Smiths though) but there was nothing offensive about the ad.
Erm... stretching it a bit. I think someone with too much time on their hands just searched for photos of Beyonce wearing particular colours to match the locomotives.
Sittingbourne. Not a whole lot in the town but what there is is just across a road from the station entrance. Plus, a new entertainment complex and hotel are being built less than 100m away.
Spoken as someone who's never known when it's right to engage in coupling to a fellow unit.
Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week. I'm glad someone saw the funny side.
When the time is right and all the signs are there that your fellow unit is ready, you'll just know when you can make your move and engage in coupling.
I remember back in the day when what was then Connex South Eastern would split/join trains at Faversham.
This was on the old slam door trains and they certainly did bump and jump while carrying out the procedure! When the newer units started replacing them you could barely notice it. In fact...
Well... last week I finally received the rejection email after applying in April. So, give it another 6 months or so and then start to get worried
I am a uniformed member of hospital staff. If I popped to Asda on the way home in uniform (very obviously a medical uniform, NHS badges, the lot), guaranteed I'll be asked where certain items can be found in store.
I'm then met with an incredulous look (and verbal abuse once) when I don't know...
Have all current applications been transferred from the Northern website to the new DB site, does anyone know?
I applied in April on the old site and I'm having trouble logging into the new site. Unable to get on so far to see how it's getting on.
I've just checked, mine is still new application submitted.
I emailed earlier today just for a check up. Last time I heard anything was around 20th June saying sift had started. My email reply from Northern this afternoon says sift is still ongoing.
Getting mixed signals
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
