It certainly would look good and fit in on any number of heritage railways, especially those with a LMS or Southern background. It is Britain's only pre-BR, steam age, mainline diesel loco!

The loco will painted and numbered as 10000. We could argue the validity of referring to it as another number such as 10001, 10002 or 34003 all we want, but its standard identity will definitely be as 10000. Andrew
