Is this seen as a promotion within the industry? From what has been said in this thread they don't earn as much as drivers? Can they be held accountable for their drivers mistakes? Im guessing they're not part of the Drivers Union if they have to drive during industrial action?

Is there no mechanical assessment with pulleys and levers involved anymore?

I applied last August for positions at Wembley and heard nothing till a pack was posted through my door on Feb 9th inviting me to an assessment this Friday.

For the assessment day they ask you to take documentary evidence of your National Insurance number. Would a pay slip with it on and my actual NI card be ok to use for this?

How much difference is there in the Dials and Indicators practice material and the Dials and Cables in the actual test? Is it literally just the indicators/cables that are different?

The DRS 57 would probably be 57308. Was there when I went to Brum Friday evening and still there when I went back Sunday. Could'nt tell you what the 66 was though, sorry

Hi all does anybody know if theres a Mechanical comprehension test in the new assessments for DBS? Doesn't mention anything about it in the pack I've been sent.
