Yes that’s was I was thinking as I did some practice test and was getting better score when I select all the options if the picture is of a busy junction and lots of traffic.
Thank for the information I’ll just try my best on all the assessments and take it from there :)

Oh wow you must be really good at this, by traffic scene do you mean the one where a picture comes up for a second then disappear and you have to pick what you saw?
I’m assuming you had to do all that in different stages? With SWR stage 1 & 2 assessment are on the same day rather than separate...
I’ve just submitted the ARL application too but going from previous experience I don’t think they will get back to me in less than two weeks so hopefully by then I’d have passed assessments with SWR which is next week
Haha I only discovered the vacancy today, and haven’t had chance to submit the application but I’ll submit once i get home, was just wondering if I should wait till next week but not much point waiting as Arriva usually take long to get back anyway, last year I didn’t make past paper sift with...
Ah I see, they’ve asked me to do paper and computer tests on the same day unless there isn’t enough time then they will arrange another day.
Regarding the picture, yes I am aware of what I’m looking for and 2-3 objects shouldn’t be a problem for me it’s when there’s 4-5 objects in one picture...
Location shouldn’t matter anyone as they ask you if you’re willing to relocate. Could be technical error? A friend of mine applied and he didn’t even receive online assessment lol
on the software if you even miss one you don’t get any marks.. for example one page had 22 matching symbols, I selected 21 before time ran out and I didn’t get any marks for that page because I missed 1 matching symbol
I had found a similar practice test online with motor vehicles pedestrians traffic light etc but on there if you miss out anything then you get incorrect answer so I was thinking I’d have to be 100% accurate, I’m ok with finding 1-3 objects but it’s when there’s all 5 objects in the picture it’s...
Does anyone know about the telephone directory test, do you only get marks if you find ALL the matching symbols on the page? Or would you still get marks if you miss out some matching symbols?
oh yes you mentioned before that DMI & MMI will be separate days from the assessments!
What would be your advice for ATAVT test? If there are a lot of object in the image would be be good to assume all 5 objects are there?
?
