    Class 319's Brochure

Almost certainly not considering they are getting brand new stock. Why would they want a handful of old stock which is almost certainly incompatible with whatever they decide on.

    Class 319's Brochure

Because people in the North are used to hand downs whilst. London commuter routes get billions of investment? For the record, I have no problem with the cascade as a Northerner myself. The 319s are great units. Not sure about your example. The HST still looks modern in design, slam door or not.

    Class 319's Brochure

No. Two are mentioned in the PDF - depending on if the end gangway was needed or not.

    Class 319's Brochure

Well no they aren't as I said. It is about making people in the northwest think they are getting new modern looking trains instead of 'cast offs'.

    Class 319's Brochure

As the PDF clearly states, it is to do with customer perception.

    Class 319's Brochure

Well the new cab front sure looks better. Great trains, but ugly beasts at present. Doubt anyone would take the new cab front option though.

IEP: 26 metres is too long

Still not seeing anything to back up your claims - you conveniently miss out that when writing irrelevant replies?

    Boycott of the railways

Based on what exactly? A taxi would be four times that and take the same amount of time.

    IEP setback

No it doesn't. No it won't. Who told you this?

Merseyrail Guard on Trial (Report now out)

The still is pretty irrelevant. What matters is the video the jury saw.

Property left on train.Station master couldnt telephone the onboard train manager.

I assume you don't work in a customer facing role, Mr Perfect?

    Merseyrail Guard on Trial

Another one here who rarely agrees with ANG here - but he is spot on. And that does not mean the girls actions were acceptable behaviour.

    Liverpool Central Re-opens

I agree ideally the wall panels are ugly - but the current ones were only put up maybe 18 months ago, they are not old. The previous ones were green.

    Liverpool Central Re-opens

You didn't notice the new flooring throughout (totally different colour), replaced escalators (Northern Line), new lighting, lack of 1970s brown platform furniture or removal of a plant room?

    Manchester If Only

That is an interesting statistic. Where does it come from? Are they available for Manchester?

IEP: 26 metres is too long

It is interesting watching the goalposts continuously being moved. I'm not sure it is worth your time to argue with the OP.

Is 12:07 VT Euston to Liverpool 11-car?

That might be so, but Liverpool services seem totally random to me from week to week.

    Station Assistance with no Staff

It should be paid by the TOCs account with a taxi firm, not by the stuck passenger.

First TPE driver suffers suspected heart attack mid-journey

And in some companies, in this case Merseyrail, it IS a diagrammed job. So, my original question still stands (albeit it phrased badly).
