its probably 40 years since they renumbered the platforms at Banbury from 1-6 to 1-4 and over 25 years since a scheduled train started from it but the northbound bay has been renumbered 1B about 18 months before its due to taken out of use!
Sometimes its runs with 30 wagons, other times its 40. You can make out in the photo during unloading at this particular point the train is split into 3 portions (Sorry not sure how to make photo larger)

Im pretty sure in the days of Banbury Junction signal box the longer stone terminal siding was a loop line off the Down Goods. Always thought it would make unloading easier if it went back to being a loop.
55034,55032 & 960301 leaving Banbury for Tyseley yesterday. I was informed by the Chiltern staff on board that 55034 was going for overhaul and that 55032 & 960301 had been sold
