Charter to Barry Island Sat 22/08/15
Was out for the day and heading from Barry (where I'd dodged the queues for a brew and a sausage bap) in to Cardiff when I saw the charter heading towards Barry in the morning, and then stuck around in Cardiff to see it head back towards London around 5pm. West Coast Railways on Cambrian
Used to do the run from Mach to London regularly when I was a young un on the sprinters. Excuse my ignorance but does anyone know what the light locomotive was? I remember class 37s on the line, and even a HST once I think, but can't remember too many other locos running that route...- lazydragon
