Just spoke to recruitment and the Feb 29th course might be pushed back to the 7th March and she will inform me when she's told.

It is by far. I know as traincrew we are meant to check its accommodated, but, in case this didn't happen or if a train fails and grinds to a halt half way down the platform, it is far better.

The whole confusing thing is that there is two types of ASDO now. 459's operate by single antennas in each coach that passes over the beacon will be released. So if 6 pass over 6 will be released. However if a 444/450 just has 1 coach pass over the beacon, it will tell the train X amount of...

They was replaced by a 455 Saturday and replaced by a 450 yesterday but 8017/8028 are both out in service today.

I had trouble with a pair of 450's also Matt even though i had no ASDO stops, i arrived into Ascot and the alarms went crazy came up on the TMS as a complete ASDO failure but cleared after a few seconds. Makes the 459's seem good so far :lol:

To be fair ive never had trouble around the Hounslow Loop, its always Feltham - Windsor/Weybridge/Wokingham that the trouble does start. Back on topic slightly here, worked 8007/8017 tonight for possibly the last time, shame 3 out of 4 toilets where broken but to be honest for a 458 thats...

Im also for Kings X/London. So is my friend off the forum who got his email yesterday.

Noted today 8006 has been taken off and 8017 is now paired with 8007.

We've actually been told not to use the PIS and to use manual announcements until the 12th October when most or all units should have the Upgrade.
