The 10 StreetCars that First Cymru used in Swansea entered service in 2009, a couple of years later than originally planned, with conductors from the onset. They lasted until late August 2015, when replaced by StreetLites, and were placed mostly in open storage. Nine were sold for scrap in...
One of the major attractions on the X10 is the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet at Sarn, north of Bridgend, for those travelling from both Swansea and Cardiff, so it's not just end to end business that will be affected.
The service seems to have been the victim of a death by a thousand cuts. In...
32002's working has been replaced by a standard Wright Gemini-bodied Volvo B7TL or B9TL. However, for the last few weeks of the season, the service is being reduced to a one bus working, i.e. just 32012.
66723 entered service last week at Swansea Ravenhill depot, and is an indirect replacement for fire damaged Enviro300 67433, latterly based at Port Talbot.
Driver Trainer 66728 is also now with First Cymru.

Only four vehicles have been repainted this year, so far - Volvo B7TLs 37152 and 37668, in two-tone blue, and Enviro200s 44590 and 44624, in red and maroon. Only the B7TLs were refurbished.
67632, 67633, 67634, 67636 and 67643 are the five that transferred from FWoE to First Cymru, though 67643 didn't enter service, and all five were sold to Trevor Wigley in July.
Stagecoach's Service 1 has my vote as well, second to Service 172 between Aberdare, the Rhondda Valleys, Bridgend and Porthcawl.
To bring you up to date, all of the South Wales fleet's Darts have been SORNd since late March and Service 1 (and 2 & 3) are now in the hands of Alexander Dennis...
