Quite ironic that the most agressive and dismissive posts are coming from the very people accusing Yes voters of being racist, bigotted, etc.
If Scotland votes Yes it is beyond me why anyone outside Scotland would be angry or want the new country to fail. If it was Wales and the people living...
It was never really much of a problem to be honest.
And if you're in a fit state with a few mates and not being loud the guard normally has no problem with it (a couple of times coming back from football games we've simply not noticed the time going past 9pm and are still having a beer and...
I live close to the centre of Glasgow but will choose to travel by air if it is for work, sitting on a Pendalino for 4-5 hours in a suit is no fun south of Preston when they are packed. The train from Glasgow Central that gets you into London for late morning meetings leaves before the commuter...
Any in Scotland?
I know there is a rare Glasgow QS - Kirkcaldy which is maybe once a day. And Golf Street and Barry Links stations in the north east get a train stopping once every blue moon to prevent closure. Anything else?
Always do this, often it is generic crap you get back that is of no use but if you think there is a chance you will go for a job with the same company again defo do it, shows your extra keen.
Thanks for the info, seems unbelievable they have 314s sitting around and don't double some of the evening peaks. The 18.07 to Neilston must be the most packed train that leaves Central.
How many units do you think the Paisley Canal line needs?
I don't want 318s on the Circle lines, 314's are better for busy trains cause they have loads of standing room.
Off topic but on Thursday there was a 320 on Platform 8 of Central around 9.15, what had that been up to? Very rarely see...
Where are these spare 314s for Paisley Canal?
Are they not only used on the Neilston/Circle/Newton services? Sending some to Paisley Canal will have an impact on these services surely?
I like the frequency of those trains and hope they aren't cut because frankly they are all needed. I fail...
Isn't the last train home, particularly on weekends, there to get drunk people home, if you don't let them on trins your going to end up with hundred of disgruntled ****heads milling around Queen St and Central.
Also, what exactly are they targetting here? The rowdiest trains are the last...
A West Highland Railways double loco pulling various old carriages with a lot of passengers some with their heads out the windows just went passed me at Pollockshields West, what is it and why is it here and where is it going? Seems like the most unlikely route ever, a bog standard commuter line...
