It was moved back to Waverley temporarily in June 2024 due to works making the existing stop at South St David Street unavailable. It's supposed to move back later this year, but hopefully the arrangement is made permanent.
The stop at George Street is used when Waverley Bridge is unavailable.
The initial 300 to Ocean Terminal lasted a long time originally operating as service 35. The 300's "downfall" began when it was changed to serve Cameron Toll in 2018 with the Old Town > Ocean Terminal stretch moved back onto the newer and present version of the 35. It meant that a large chunk of...
I had assumed it was Traveline as the API bustimes.org uses is currently https://lothianapi.com/vehicles/all which doesn't return any block numbers.
It doesn't use anything else from Lothian/Edinburgh Council.
I think that's it trying to match the trip to the board number which is available via traveline data. It's not excellent at it.
If I had to guess the trip numbers continually increase with changes. They were all in the 239* range (some were occasionally 242) before and are now up at 246/7. I...
I imagine the issues upon initial delivery will also be a factor. I recall initial deliveries had a number of problems so they all were delayed to get them sorted. This early image shows the door poles in silver. After delivery a good number were also sent to Ferrymill motors for several weeks...
This is a different vehicle, but interesting regardless. It's not a fire though.
I'm inclined to say bus 24 on January 28th. It was out again after that but then taken off from January 30th and back in service today.
1126 hasn't been repainted but was on the 100 yesterday. It did spend time off service and recently was at the Pumpherston vehicle inspection centre so I would believe if it does have racks. Though it is on a 16 at the moment.
1127 is also out of service right now.
Alternatively they could...
I believe 933 was a loan to allow extra buses to appear on the 43 during the railway works. 933 should still be covering 1004 (and perhaps 669) at the moment at Longstone.
I imagine they may be able to reduce the overall allocation slightly due to the increased time these three vehicles will...
Thank you. I had noted its gap at the start of the year and was keen to find if it had been repainted. 927/8 are covering these.
7900s are still going at the moment as well.
The 12 is too quiet to justify double deckers. For reliability it has had a peak vehicle requirement increase though, using an extra single which has become available from the 46 withdrawal.
My personal question is whether the 39 will be doubles given the 139 is just now.
It wouldn't surprise me if this variant is operated by single deckers. I suppose it depends on the performance of the Granton to City Centre leg and how confident they are in this reroute. A lot of the existing patronage will be forced onto the 1, 2, tram and possibly 12 instead, so it will have...
I've sorted it, I missed a space.
No change to the local services at all in West Lothian, which is a shame, and strange. It raises questions what the vehicle increases there are for.

That change to the 22, wow... Much disappointed by the loss of a direct, fast bus into the city centre and the frequency reduction. This will...
