Arghhh this is driving me mad, practicing like mad on these and I'm getting around 8/9 lines and I think I've done well then go through the answers and missed 2 or 3, I've never crossed out incorrect groups but missing 4s is doing my head in
Wow thats brilliant, congratulations & all the best in your new career.
Did you find the guide the send you to practice helpful (ive had a look at the guide in the past off a friend)
My application for trainee driver in Manchester on the DB site has said application in process and I was then asked to an interview were it then changed to Assessment, I sat the interview and it said Assessment still for a week or so and now says Application in process again.
Not sure what to...
I know people that have applied for Northern with the same application around 4 or 5 times and on the 5th time got an interview etc and got the job.
They seemed to think it was just pot luck.
Hi Guys,
Any help appreciated.
I believe on the assessment day I will be required to sit both these tests (Scaat & GB) , Can anyone confirm how long you get per pages for the dots ive heard 1 min and 2 min and also the shapes is that 1 min per page?
Many thanks in advance for any info, just...
This might be me being a bit dumb here but on the GB test, should it tell you how many dots you are supposed to be crossing out?
Cant seem to find it, when I start it, just says hit space to start, cant see where it says find xx amount of dots??
Oh yeah 100%, I was assuming he meant knocking on the side window when in a station, as I know the northern rail drivers get that a lot when at a station, usually asking is this train going to........
I would of thought opening the driver door would be a big no no anyhow.
Yes really looking forward to it, apparently my route will be the new airport line so really looking forward to that.
Course sounds good, ive already done both Metrolink & Northern Rail PTS so i'll know about that already which will help.
TPE Eh, nice trains youre on there, decent routes to.
To be honest i did think that after i posted, as i had the same issue with the psychometric testing, read up on it on the net and it seemed pretty daunting and in reality it was nothing like what i'd read so your point is very valid.
Cheers for the reply
For some reason it won't let me send a PM, maybe as I'm new to the forum?
I was just really wondering what to expect from the training and if there's anything I could start reading in advance to help me along the way?
Really excited by this opportunity everybody I speak to who works at...
I've just got a job driving for Metrolink and as you'd imagine I'm absolutely made up about it.
I meant to ask this question at the interview but with all the good news I totally forgot, but was wondering if there's any literature I could be reading up on to help me before my course starts...
