350's don't have SDO, instead they have UDS which is a big difference! Picture a 8 car train stopping at Stone and only the front 4 cars are opened. Now picture the family with bags trying walk from the rear 4 cars before the train leaves the platform..... I've worked some 8 cars into Wembley...

Just out of interest what are you using to time the train departures??

I believe the plan is that trains will come into Bly from Bedford on platform 5 or 6. The driver will change ends and leave Bly around the back of the carriage sidings. It will rejoin the main line via the arrival line on the up slow. It will continue on the U/S to Denbigh hall were it crosses...

Saw this unit at Millbrook on its way to Bletchley at 14.30 on Friday. I was the conductor on the LM 150 going to Bedford. From what I understand LM are planning to run a 172 on the branch when the 150's go to Northern and are running this unit down there to get clearance.
