Pity they have not increased use of 802s on this route, as we move forward

    Doncaster Sheffield Airport to reopen?

Re TUI pricing. We found DSA was the cheapest, that's why we used it.

    New TPE direct route ?

Most are Victoria to Scarborough, but there are the odd piccadilly and airport to Scarborough services too. Pity its not all the way to Liverpool, but who knows what's coming. Currently weekends are the old Thomas shuttles due to engineering.

East Yorkshire Motor Services, now part of Go-Ahead

Presumably this large number of new electric buses, on the eyms side, would allow many older fleet members to be disposed of, and a large scale cascade of newer buses to some other depots, or.......?

Ok cheers, multi twice in the acronym is not good English though

Could be an early test for Starmer's anti-Nimby plans

    Doncaster Sheffield Airport to reopen?

I was listening to a debate on 5Live this morning, arguing for 3rd runway at LHR, yet others argued Rachel from Accounts would get her growth quicker if capacity at northern airports was used instead rather than investing in London yet again. Then, surprise, someone rang in from Doncaster...

New units for Northern - shortlist of manufacturers

I thought the 2024 stock for LU would eventually replace Central line units too.

New units for Northern - shortlist of manufacturers

Does this mean, obviously, that there will be no more orders for 195s ? Indeed, across all TOCs, is that it for DMUs?

    Cheers for that, very interesting

East Yorkshire Motor Services, now part of Go-Ahead

Was the 128 in existence in the United days? Wasn't it a Scarborough to pickering service operated by Hardwicks, part of Wallace Arnold?

East Yorkshire Motor Services, now part of Go-Ahead

Or.......as Scarborough depot routes are all low numbers except one, the 128, why is this? as nos. 1 & 6 are free. 1736287334 Overbranding buses for routes seems weird to me. The other day the 128 had a Coaster livery vehicle on it, whilst neutrals were on the 12. Barmy!

    No Trains on Boxing Day

May have some logic to it, but, what happens if engineering and their unions start demanding christmas time off ?

    No Trains on Boxing Day

The problem with forced holiday periods, whether 1-2 weeks at Christmas or 2 weeks somewhere in summer, is the old chestnut of cost of going away on holiday, especially with families.

    Doncaster Sheffield Airport to reopen?

Regarding catchment area, it is also the most accessible, time wise, for east yorkshire and coastal regions of North Yorkshire.

    Doncaster Sheffield Airport to reopen?

True, but getting to LBA by the poor road connections is getting slower and slower as traffic organically grows. If they don't sort out at least a dual carriageway to the airport, or the new tram going there, it will become less and less attractive; while of course, DSA has great road connection.

    Longest scheduled stop?

What possible reason is there for departing Saltburn later on a Saturday, as on same times after Redcar? Maybe a planners pencil slipped?
