Oh dear! That train on the left looks badly damaged, it is unlikely to be repaired after the accident. It would eventually be written off and to be scrapped
Porterbrook has proposed to convert the 37 Class 350/2 Desiros into Battery-Electric Multiple Units with the battery pack fitted in them, so they can operate the non-electrified lines such as Oxenholme-Windermere branch line. So my guess that they would be transferred to Northern Trains.
I'm not really sure if all of the 26 Class 323s will be transferred to Northern Trains, I thought that the 17 Class 323s would be transferred to Northern Trains, while the 9 Class 323s will remain with West Midlands Railway or they would be stored away. So will the 26 Class 323s be transferred...
That's great news. Since Corby railway station is already electrified like today now, so I guess that Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield will be electrified at this point as well. It's just my guess.

So has the 153302 been scrapped? I thought all of the 70 Class 153s will be rebuilt into 35 Class 155s as a original plan.
Yes, and all of the 50 Class 350 Desiros will be retained except 37 Class 350/2 Desiros that they will go off lease and will be replaced by 45 Class 730 Aventras due to Porterbrook had said that the 350/2s are too expensive to own them and they will be stored away.
After the refurbishment for all of the 30 Class 350/1 Desiros are completed, 10 of Class 350/3 Desiros could have their interiors refurbished at this point.
I'm glad the 337442 carriage number 78842 has finally returned to traffic. And 337342 will be renumbered back to 377442 and reformed back to 4 carriages again.
That's a relief. I'm glad it'll be 36 units so the services will be busy.

Ok. Until the WMR will sort it out. And what about the Chase Line? The line is electrified so the electric trains can operate it.
I thought WMR would order 36 Class 730/0 units at first like it originally had. So are they going to shortened the number of order like 26 like Class 323s
Here are the routes that the 730/0s would operate are:
Redditch-Lichfield Trent Valley
Bromsgrove-Lichfield Trent Valley...
Possibly. They are removed when they are being revinyled. Avanti West Coast says they will have the future names for these Super Voyagers but it is unclear if they will have their new names or not. But my guess that they will be transferred to CrossCountry after they are being replaced by the...
I was reading the Rail Magazine Issue 926 and I looked on letters page on pages 39 and 40. And it says here: A Fleet and Route swap - The Introduction of the new bi-mode fleets at East Midlands Railway and Avanti West Coast gives a perfect opportunity for a wider DfT-initiated fleet...
