Ex LNER (and Grand Central) Mark 4 sets for TfW

Hi, just seen this Mark 4 rake pass Flint heading in the Chester direction. I think it was this movement on RTT. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/11591/2020-04-07/detailed There was a class 66 coupled to the DVT at the front pulling it, with a class 66 at the back. Would this just have...

    Dog on seat.

During the odd occasion i take my small dog on the bus, i usually let her sit on my knee so she can look at the window as it seems to calm her down. She hates lying/sitting down on the floor of the bus and gets worked up because of the enclosed space. Never had any complaints about it either.

    Televisions on buses.

I remember crosville in Wrexham having Tv's on them. Think they just showed adverts, this must have been mid to late 90s.

Future of Wrexham-Bidston line, inc. possible franchise swap etc.

So are they ditching the colour schemes at stations that still have the Red, Green and creme lamposts like they have at Caergwrle Station? Some stations have a dark blue too. They never went to Arriva colours at the time i don't think either.

Signalling in Chester & Surrounding areas

No problem, i had a feeling it may have been Gresford that you meant. And yes, there was a line to Llay Main Colliery but sadly almost nothing remains of it.

Signalling in Chester & Surrounding areas

Pleas may i ask what the Wrexham (Llay) item is. Im from the village and the nearest lines run through the Alyn valley below Gresford and the borderlands line through Cefn-y-Bedd. I'm not familiar with the signaling side of the railways but im just intrigued as to what Llay has to do with it all.

Flooding: 26th October - Stafford - Stoke and the North West of England

The TFW services in North Wales, that i used today, didn't seem affected that much by the closure in the south. However i believe the AM premier express from Holyhead was cancelled. There were 2 services from Wrexham this evening, that i think were mainly affected by a power issue in the...

Suggestions for improving the service on the Wrexham-Bidston line

Problem is they would have to staff it. And Central isn't the most pleasant of stations to be at. If they put barriers at central, then i guess they would have to install them at General too.
