All the new lines opened since 2009 were built with the new system in place (TMS): Media City, Ashton, East Didsbury/ Airport, Oldham Rochdale. The Eccles line was converted from the old line of sight system to TMS in 2010. The city centre was converted in 2012.

I was under the impression that modern disability regulations meant that even if TFGM wanted to fit the same number of seats as a T68 they would be unable to.
My view is that in rush hour I care more about getting on the tram in the first place than getting a seat.
I was on a class 379 the other day sat under the pantograph well. During the journey whist traveling at speed there where two occasions where it sounded like the pantograph dropped (a loud thud was heard coming from the roof above).
