I was under the impression that modern disability regulations meant that even if TFGM wanted to fit the same number of seats as a T68 they would be unable to. My view is that in rush hour I care more about getting on the tram in the first place than getting a seat.

And if there was more legroom how many would be complaining about the lack of seats?!

I was on a class 379 the other day sat under the pantograph well. During the journey whist traveling at speed there where two occasions where it sounded like the pantograph dropped (a loud thud was heard coming from the roof above). Is this what I heard? Why and how does this happen?
