    Supermarkets discussion

In Norwich there were two Lidls near each other. One was closed and became a gym when a larger Lidl opened nearby as a replacement. The other one was closed a few years later and became Co-op funeral services.

    Older cars you have seen

Saw a white E plate Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI this morning in Norwich. Plenty of rust along the bottom of the doors and sills. The wing was so rusty, part of it was missing.

Have you tried the share option within Safari, and then select PDF from the options? This can then be saved as a file.

UK switching to electric vehicles discussion

Appears that only Glasgow and Newquay are for general public use, the rest are for commercial use only. Newquay is 50p/kWh so maybe that will be the standard price.

    PlusBus Tickets

I even showed the driver the website but he was adamant that Plusbus needed to be printed on the ticket, as was his manager. When it works, and you're confident there won't be any problems with acceptance, it is good value for money.

    PlusBus Tickets

Probably I just associated train ticket + bus as Plusbus, which I agree it doesn't state on the Greater Anglia website. Does that make it more confusing for everyone, the bus drivers understanding of what is included and the customers understanding of which services can be used? I wonder whether...

I purchased the Anglia Plus One Day Ranger a couple of weeks ago https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/tickets-fares/discounts/rangers-rovers/anglia-plus This offers Plusbus in Norwich, Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds. Travelling in and out of Norwich City Centre was fine. Whilst in Ipswich travelling...

Premierinn at Bristol Cribbs causeway. Brought my own coffee this time so no problem there, but no further milk pots available. Reception provided a glass of milk instead. Cost cutting or supply issues?

    Budget hotels discussion

We stayed at the PremierInn Exchange Square Birmingham earlier this week. The room wasn't ready as a family room so we were asked to wait for 15 minutes whilst they prepared the sofa bed and smaller bed. Without us asking they offered us free breakfasts for the following morning. There were only...

    Budget hotels discussion

Whilst staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Hull we were offered a free glass of wine rather than having our room serviced. Sadly the buffet breakfast didn't have any sausages as they hadn't had enough ordered/delivered.
