No thanks I buy tickets for various family members with different railcards, the last thing I need to do is enter more data. It really is not hard to remember an expiry date.
The railcard issue should certainly be stopped from prosecution if the fare is identical just a polite warning is all that should be required. I think of this a bit like motoring offences, easy to fine someone for going at 33 in a 30 zone. Sadly no easy way of sorting out the really dangerous...
I was just looking at Manchester to Sheffield Northern services today which are much reduced as expected. What I find most confusing is why, despite the zillions of trains not running, RTT only has this as a 3 car 195 set. I suppose RTT may be incorrect.
It sounds very bad and pure anti customer with maximum spite. Did the staff vote for these specific dates or is the solely a RMT "Management" decision. I question whether this is a good way to compromise, doesn't seem so on the surface. What I find worst from a customer point of view is there is...
Do they really think this is a good plan? Especially since the Midland Main line is shut with buses going to Milton Keynes. How can this action be initiated by anyone who has a conscience. Shame on you RMT and Avanti TMs. I am also disgusted.
Interestingly I think it only shows the price on BR Fares if you leave the railcard blank. I would have thought it should show the same non discounted upgrade option when a railcard is chosen. Explains why I haven't seen it before.
I would suggest that they should have been dealt with much sooner. Thousands of people affected and plans messed up with associated stress. They should have been caught and locked up pretty quickly for their own safety.

I am not sure why the Buxton line was affected so badly , why...
This is the proposed journey.
Fri 18th Single Marylebone to Leamington Spa
Mon 21st 1015 Cross Country Leamington Spa to Stockport, Starting short on the London return
Wed 23rd Avanti return Stockport to London
Is this valid and would I encounter any problems? Are there any other options?
Just two weeks ago at St Pancras they thought they could see a knife. Took 5 minutes for someone to show up then they took everything out and dumped it in a tray. Since I didn't have a knife eventually I was allowed to repack and carry on.
On further investigation with browser settings on my PC it seems the fault was entirely (mostly?) mine. It seems that 4.5 years ago in 2020 I had decided that blocking cookiebot, which is a key part of the TFL web site, was needed to block certain ads. I did this by an entry in the hosts file...
I have had this problem for a while now on my PC with Chrome and Edge, does anybody have an idea what is actually happening. No problem on my Android phone.
I have added a disabled railcard later on the same day of travel because I forgot it had expired on Oyster. When I checked my account the next day the discounts were correct for all travel on the previous day even before the card was added. We have also done the same with a 16-25 railcard.
I am not sure about the gap but I think it would be OK.
As far as I can see then it is no problem getting to Whitby in a day as long as you get the 0920 from Leeds. This is a great scenic route and I have done the run to Newcastle a few times starting at 0615 Chinley. There is a couple of hours...
I was on the 2053 from Euston to Manchester this evening a nightmare journey. Was a 9 car rather than 11, left 10 mins late and very full declassified, lost time to Milton Keynes due to track issues, 2 freight trains were allowed to pass at Stafford. The final insult was we were stopped just...
We get a princely £30 for staying with family. It was this amount 20 years ago so has degraded slightly. However the benefit of not staying in a hotel when in London is considerable for my sanity and well being.
The passenger trains were a long way behind because they were held at Preston Station for a long time so that is planned distance. If the passenger trains had been allowed to depart earlier so they were closer and the freight pushed into the loop life would have been a lot smoother for many...
