Livingston South to Fauldhouse - I've had to get off at both stations but never done the line inbetween
or
Bathgate to Drumgelloch as well, not been on that line since it reopened.
Would this cover me for a weekend trip to Carlisle via Gretna on Scotrail?
The website says "Season ticket holders on affected routes can travel anywhere on ScotRail services, accompanied by one extra person, for six specified weekends in March, April and May 2019"
Technically its a Scotrail...
Another vote for Birmingham New Street - an awful train station that they seem to have bizarrely left in a dreadful state for passengers whilst they built a shopping centre on top of it.
As I put it in the wrong thread earlier -
I nipped down to Cumbernauld, a whole one station away, yesterday for the football on my weekly pass, which I do need for the daily commute, and the ticket examiner when I showed him my pass and said I was taking advantage of the free weekend then...
It is of course the 2nd weekend of free travel anywhere on Scotrail for those with season tickets on certain routes. Being on holiday 2 weeks ago I didn't have a ticket for last weekend but did for this.
I went a staggering 12 minutes down the line to Cumbernauld - conductor had to take a piece...
Stirling Council and Tactran are apparently in talks to move Bridge of Allan station towards Stirling, indeed they want to move it to Cornton which is in Stirling.
Needless to say the local reaction has been negative.
Its currently in the shopping centre in Whats it Called? but the passageway it sits in has been closed off to the public for a couple of years, I was told it was in preparation for a cinema development that never happened.
On the plus side, well for me, I had confirmation of reimbursement for 3 delay repays from the past week within a couple of hours of submission -
1x Stirling to Edinburgh
1x Edinburgh to Stirling
1x Queen Street to Falkirk
So at least one part of Scotrail is functioning well! However the fact...
Carnage across the central belt right now. nothing for 2 hours to Edinburgh from Stirling , trains cancelled to Glasgow and Dunblane, earlier train to Aberdeen also gone and 2 carriage Gqs to Dundee.
Hopefully this wasn't the original poster!!!!!!!

A couple were arrested after having sex on a National Express - just hours after meeting for the first time on the coach.
The 32-year-old woman and a...
When I did Glasgow to London (rtn) on a regular National Express £1 each way basis in the mid 90s they often put on a second non-stop bus if they had enough demand. I'd go for the stopper as people tended to want the non-stop to get to London/Glasgow an hour or so earlier, frequently the stopper...
And having experienced it twice - LONDON and back, I would never have used it again - awfully claustrophobic for me. I spent the second half of the return journey in the seats, 2 to myself, as I couldn't hack lying in the "coffin" for any longer.
Falkirk High, officially the 5th most skipped station in Scotland during 2018 with 119 skips.
Thats a big issue for the major stop between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
