Afternoon everyone!
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I've noticed that this train runs as a London Midland service via the DC lines - what stock is actually used to run on this service? The 350/1s are dual voltage but do not have tripcocks.
2D45 02:00 London Euston - Watford Junction
What would be the best split for me travelling on a priv from either Euston or Watford to Glasgow Central, preferably using off-peak / super off-peak combinations where possible?
I've noticed recently that more and more passengers are requesting to be manually let through ticket barriers despite having working tickets to the point where I have even seen people buy tickets from TVMs and walk straight up to a member of staff claiming it does not work without actually...
Just spotted this oddity running on Sunday 10th November:
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C51750/2013/11/10/advanced
Is this actually a public service or will it be some sort of staff train?
Is it just me or are more and more dependants trying to abuse their boxes by 'forgetting' to fill them in, altering dates and then getting stroppy or abusive when challenged?
I've had them claim that they 'don't have to fill them in' if they're making short journeys and I even had one accuse...
Can anyone help me with the mileage for the Swanage Railway?
I need to know the following mileages in miles / chains:
Swanage to Herston Halt
Herston Halt to Harman's Cross
Harman's Cross to Corfe Castle
Corfe Castle to Norden
Norden to Motala Ground Frame
Thanks in advance :)
Currently working on a test track route for TS2013 which is going to have a section of TVM signalling on one of the lines, but having a few problems with it.
When entering the TVM section the train picks up the speed limits no problem but upon leaving the TVM section the second to last block...

As you may be aware London Overground services will start running on the South London Line this Sunday. Click HERE for a timetable of the first few trains from Clapham Junction and Highbury & Islington respectively.
Any idea if annual season tickets can be paid for in instalments (ie monthly Direct Debit)?
Considering buying a zone 1-2 Gold Card next year but not sure if I can afford to pay for it in one go, and not sure if my company does a season ticket loan scheme for its staff.
May have to do this first weekend in November.
Anytime Return (SOR) for London Terminals - Maybole is:
£87.75 ANY PERMITTED and £76.00 VIA YORK
Apart from Advances are there any decent splits for this using Anytime fares only as I am on a TOCNE PRIV?
I'm likely to be travelling up to Southport next week, are there any decent splits for this with Anytime fares? I have a PRIV and the SOR Anytime Return EUS - SOP (Any Permitted) with discount comes to £71.75
I know I could use London Midland Only tickets and change at Crewe or use my SWT staff...

I'm currently in the process of creating my own track pieces.
I have created a short 50m tunnel section (newtrk_50mStrtTnl.s) using GMAX and added it to the TSECTION.DAT as appropriate. I have also created an SD file for it so it can be useable.
But, my problem is I cannot line it up properly...
For those of you who like doing the 'fast' services, you still have the chance of non-stopping Reading on a FGW service before the December timetable kicks in, after which all trains will call there. The 'Red Dragon' which leaves London Paddington at 18:15 (M-F) is one of them, running non-stop...
