    In Australia, you have Canberra - Yass Junction, to get there by train you have to get from Canberra to Goulburn and then wait there for one of the XPTs which go to Melbourne and arrive in Yass around 11.30 in the morning or after midnight!

    In my former local area, Bebington & New Ferry changed simply to Bebington. However geographically the current Liverpool bound platform is located in Bebington and the Chester / Ellesmere Port Platform (former island) is located in New Ferry.

    When I was still living in the UK, myself and a couple of mates hid inbetwwen the seats to "go around" at the terminus as the driver did the same route going back toward home after a quick break.     On Merseyrail on the Wirral there is Bromborough to Bromborough Rake & Birkenhead Park to Birkenhead North (& if Conway Park got it's planned name of Birkenhead Market, that would be 3 stations in a row with Birkenhead!)

    There is a station at Runcorn (Brisbane QLD) & one at Birkdale (Brisbane QLD) too. I went to Birkdale recently to get fish and chips in the Britsh style fish and chip shop there!!

    None UK route, the bus I use to get to work everyday goes through the Canberra Jail before It goes to the area I work in. There is a sign stating you must be on offical jail business and a list of banned items you are not to bring etc, I've only ever seen a couple of people getting on/off there...

    I am aware of the short days (I grew up in Birkenhead on the Wirral, then moved down under in 2005 when I was 13). I am not one for scenery, just crossing off routes/stations, writing down the units I travel on to and from places I go and photographing as I go along!

    I have booked my berth supplement on the Sleeper website, much easier than doing it at a station en route. I will be purchasing my ALR from Liverpool Lime Street on the day I start use with it, I renewed my 16-25 railcard and I don't to be wasting that money on not making use of it!
