To be honest it'll be nice if they did a trial run of a shuttle service on a Sunday to see if the demand could exist. I think they like using between Dorking and Horsham for rolling stock testing on Sundays though

The site next to Dorking station is up for sale atm so could be some good forward planning to buy part of it to rework the station or if Crossrail 2 isn't going to be a pipedream and give it a potentially more viable terminius than Epsom with some reworking

I'm assuming that they are all just piling up if this spent so long at Epsom...

Any reason why they are running as 12 car trains and not 10 car? Just seems strange that you would run stock that hangs off of the platforms in the event of an emergency. Also found it funny that last Saturday at least you could board this train at Epsom to travel to Gatwick. I'm sure if they...

They haven't decided on a date yet for the transfer to DfT Operator so probably just a lack of though

It’s suggested that with the introduction of class 175, some class 165/6 trains in the area might be able to transfer back, based on a forum post I saw. I agree that I’ll believe it when I see it, especially since the earlier plans for three trains per hour didn’t seem very well thought out.

Apparently the NDL service is going up to 3TPH which i just don't see happening

Had this problem on the 21st of Feb when the train to Reading changed platform from 2 to 0 literally as the train was hitting the points. I can remember looking at realtimetrains at the time and wondering why it changed platform for seemingly no reason. I think the station has actually got worse...

I've noticed Dorking appeared to get a lone 458 service this morning (Not sure if this is a regular thing) Does anyone know why? I'd like to see them on the route but just find it strange how it's a one off. Apologies if i've put this in the wrong area of the forums

They should’ve done an Epsom to Horsham (Possibly only to Dorking) shuttle as they have done on the very rare occasion

I did notice afterwards that it did go back to normal-ish. Just never seen them go to Redhill/Gatwick from 8 before
