Any news on how 158961 is coming along with its refurb?

Last Saturday there was a large cast and crew filming onboard the 0909 WAT - PMH using 5 coaches of the 10 on a 444.

150002 was doing the Cardiff - Portsmouth runs today

Rumor has it that 158961 is in for its refurb and repaint at the mo. I haven't seen it out and about for a while. Can anyone confirm?

444040 is in service today on 2T05 0618 Winchester - Portsmouth Hbr (country end of 10 car formation)

I have worked at Portsmouth Harbour since 1990 and we have had Voyager services from there - I remember at least 4 services a day running from Portsmouth Harbour, the rest from Portsmouth & Southsea (low level platforms)

I'm one of them. Right from 1988 and the NSE days here!

444002 was out of service for a while, but it's now back in service. Not sure whether any others are out, apart for routine maintainence

The biggest problem I find here in Portsmouth is cars parking on bus stops and double yellow lines. Unfortunately this has become the attitude of some selfish car and van drivers to park where they see any space. This causes delays because the bus can't park parallel to the stop and is sticking...

At a Q&A session yesterday at Portsmouth & Southsea (re : the new franchise) staff were told the 442s are to be based at Fratton Depot and maintained by Bournemouth Depot

Fresh out of the works unit 158950 is out and about today - Departed Portsmouth Harbour on 1F12 09.23 PMH - Cardiff. Should return on 1F19 13.30 Cardiff - PMH and then return on 1F30 17.23 PMH - Cardiff

So if the Turbos are to run the Cardiff to Portsmouth route, will they be run as 5 cars throughout? I take it they will be formed of 3 car 166 and 2 car 165 coupled together?
