The uniform is going to be metro branded supplied by LCR. One thing is we will be getting operators staff pass not LCR ones which I think is bit daft but that could change in future
It was also bad Birkenhead side for buses to even just get to the tunnel, the main issue for cross rivers when Queensway is shut for whatever reason every singles bus is late as no buffer in the diagrams to get back on track
majority of wirral buses go cook street till about 8pm at night monday to friday. the issue is there not enough parking for buses in the city centre. and the fact most route don't layover in liverpool for longer than 8 mins during the day. the traffic in the city centre has become worse going...
lime street lights have been broken for some time. when i was driving at GL the light would kill your layover time due to how long it takes for buses to get through. also the problem is the 10s loading is not managed at all . stand 1 and 2 can block the whole bus network going out of queens...
I’ve been told by one of my colleagues who did the driver training yesterday that there is smaller buses coming on top of what is at laird street and Widnes currently for the a2B routes don’t know make or model of them
well if it was going to happen i suspect one would have showed up for driver training. which starts this week at laird street
laird st is only getting 2 types of buses
Ultraliner and ADL E200 in 2 different sizes.
i expect it will be alot simplier fares. this is what i'm thinking may happen.
singles
my ticket
Solo Day/Weekly/Monthly
i wonder if they will do a family ticket.
i suspect the pvr is going to be changed on certain routes. i suspect that will be first one. which would make sense with changes to 407 route which interworks with 471/472 currently for arriva.
I suspect PVR will change on certain routes so there will be extra deckers available to accommodate them. As most routes now can operate via singles most of the time
I’ve been told that also. As well as 20 of hybrid deckers due to be converted to Training fleet with no hybrid system. first 2 due to leave fleet soon to be replaced by pulsars from st Helen’s
The whole fleet is being transferred out to other parts of Arriva Group.
20 of the hybrids are being converted to Driver Training fleet first 2 are leaving in next few days
I’ve seen the same video, I heard it was somewhere in Ellesmere Port but none of Wirral deckers have arrived yet as local lad on facebook goes Birkenhead’s docks each day to photograph
