Never thought I'd rave about GM locos, but 079 on the Ballina branch with a keen driver was an absolute blast, where else can you get heads out thrash with an ageing loco and 3 coaches on a beautiful rural branch line without needing a passport to get there? Travelled to Ireland via Holyhead...
