Not sure if this has been asked before… What is the likelihood of Avanti changing from CBI to MMI? I’ve passed OPC written / computer testing with Avanti but failed the CBI. I have since passed the MMI for a different TOC. I wouldn’t risk applying for Avanti again if it came up with a risk...

You haven’t missed much. 8 years as a guard at Wolves and I’ve only been over it once. We do have a booked job via the chord every 6 weeks now. 5D80 Oxley - Stafford, 1D80 starts at Stafford every 6 weeks.

DMI doesn’t count as one of your two/three strikes

When does your salary increase? Is it when you start driving with your DI or once you have fully qualified?

I applied end of Aug 2025, the process has been quick so far in my opinion, compared to others previously. So far I’ve done DMI and paper tests. Computer tests / MMI taking place next week.

Does anyone know if the MMI is graded like the other psychometric tests? IE national level / enhanced? Or is the MMI a simple pass / fail?

GBRF is national standard whereas Northern are enhanced.

I applied at Shrewsbury. Did DMI, and got stage 1 assessments coming up. I did pass the psychometrics before, but unfortunately in 2021 so not within TfW time limit.

Avanti use CBI rather than MMI so you would need to do that - the other psychometrics depend on whether you met Avanti enhanced standard. 1759263889 Can you shed any light on the DMI for TfW? What kind of questions do they ask? Thank you :)
