Early 1980s. 1983?
My ex wife worked for Metro at the time and was on the reopenings project. She was always terrified of the local schoolchildren that got invited along getting overexcited and going under a passing train whilst waiting for the reopening train to turn up.
I think the OP can certainly ask (provided its phrased suitably) but I think the chances of ITAL agreeing it are very close to 0%, and I would bet on them coming back with a "sorry, Cross Country's policy is anytime singles" (ie hiding behind their client), "NCoT says anytime single" (ie hiding...
I'm sure the merits of appealing a PF on the basis that the OP has been undercharged have been discussed before, but I can't find any of the relevant threads. I recall it was thought to be unlikely to succeed
The other advantage of asking for the details of the journeys included in the settlement offer, and then potentially querying some of them, is that it should buy a bit of time for the OP to try and get the funds together
Out of interest what happens if Joe Public turns up at a station and there’s no ticket office but there is a ticket machine. It is card only but he intends paying by card.
He tries to buy his ticket but it’s a Northern machine and as far as he can tell it requires him to create an itinerary...

Why? With hindsight the way she treated him makes her an enabler. He could do no wrong in her eyes, and I just don’t believe that nobody in the palace had any idea what was happening
FA Trophy
FC Halifax Town 1-1 Kidderminster Town
Kidderminster win 4-3 on penalties
Started well, scored after ten minutes, then sort of faded away. Conceded with ten minutes to go, and when it went to penners our abject penalty taking returned with a vengeance
So, not quite good enough in...
On the basis that we know it isn’t an offence to buy a railcard discounted ticket whilst not holding the relevant railcard * can we completely discount this getting dad into any sort of trouble?
* for the OP - for example people buy tickets for family members; people buy tickets in advance of...
When we were there virtually all the tourists were Russians. We were there a week, and changed $100 into the Ukrainian money, but everyone wanted dollars, so by the last night we still had about $95 left. We found a bar that took the local money, queued at a counter and via sign language...
Here we go....off the top of my head so probably forgetting some....
Heathrow / Gatwick / Birmingham / Manchester / Liverpool / Leeds Bradford / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Belfast / Doncaster / Luton
Dublin / Copenhagen / Jonkopping / Amsterdam / Dusseldorf / Munich / Bremen / Berlin / Vienna /...
Indeed. But interesting to note that the barrister who Pryce drew into her conspiracy to leak the details to the press ended up getting twice as long as either of the perpetrators
