I would guess so. The first Avanti pendolino took well over 6 months to finish, by the end they were churning them out 1 a fortnight (?).

Hi all, Is there a reason why the line between Glasgow and Anniesland via Maryhill isn’t electrified? To me it seems like such an obvious infill, but is this on the cards, or is there a reason it hasn’t been done. Appreciate all your responses :)

Thing that gets me about this hike is that it costs Avanti next to nothing to run it, no complimentary products etc. Excellent money-maker
