When you made your claim, which train did you select? You should choose the one you intended to use (the 11am train). If it doesn't show up you may need to enter the times manually.
Realtime Trains does go up to 1 month of previous data if you make a free account (and further back is available...
Modified diagrams this week due to Southport line closure. All services are running into Wigan North Western so under the wires all day (except the Sprinter pair which do pop into Wallgate this evening
5 diagrams (2 Oxford Road and 3 Stalybridge)
Today 4 are 769s (424, 442, 450, 456), with the...
Do buses to football stadiums count? There's quite a few routes on match days only that run to Middlebrook stadium (near Bolton), presumably they drop off in the car park which I assume is private by the big gate usually blocking access.
Not sure what we're counting as Private so I'd also like...
For 350s, Rugeley, Atherstone, Liverpool South Parkway (and more less common stops) are Unit DeSelect 4 from 12.
Of course as already mentioned loads of stations operate via local door.
Noticed at Hornsey yesterday stop markers for a FLU (i.e. 12 car 700) to SDO down to 6.
Some stations in...
Isn't that impossible because of the Sudbury branch? The branch platform is only 50m at Marks Tey, and 52m at Sudbury.
They don't look impossible to extend but if it was that easy surely they'd have done it originally.
And without additional 745s making them all 755/4s would make the triple 755...
How do you envision dividing these categories up, and in what quantities?
For example take the Pendolino, which has 2 formations, one with 2 more carriages than the other which effectively must be unreserved unless you can promise consistency in length for the full length of the booking...
150274 is also at Neville Hill alongside those three.
150222 is at Wolverton, and has been since January, so neither depot. I assume it'll go to Newton Heath once ready but that'll probably be quite a while yet.
38 people a day in 2024/2025 going directly from Wigan to Warrington.
That says nothing for everyone from the Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, Atherton, Colne, etc lines.
I generally see far over 38 people per train getting off at Warrington, understandably some of those will have come from...
In situations like this how do you/the guard not notice? Surely the announcements would be audible unless both were in a loco and DVT cab respectively?
Or is it a case of realising a sentence or so into the message?
I had no issues having my 16-25 being added at Euston (underground)
Might need to wait for someone to become available to help if they're adding someone else's Railcard or helping them with the machine first.
I think registering it on the app first will make it a bit easier at the station
It kind of is.
Across the whole Western region I noticed zones, with the display showing where the train would stop (useful in saving time having to locate the stop marker and measure mentally).
LNER stations also do the same, and Avanti have the floor markers lining up with where the Pendolino...
For me, in the last 2 years of my commute I've gotten delay repay 36 times, resulting in £41.25, 4 Northern Complementary Returns and 1 Northern Complementary Single.
21 of those 36 were in just the last 4 months of 2024 (height of the Northern weekday staffing issues).
I feel like removing the peak entirely might be too far, but on long distance trains I think removing the evening peak might go a long way, see the 222/810 thread for InterCity services being much busier the moment peak ends.
Maybe a removal of evening peak times would spread that demand over a...
