    London Buses Discussion

Isn't that though just because it's taking a share of the 1000 Wrightbus buses ordered by Go-Ahead?

    London Buses Discussion

For a forthcoming visit to London, can someone tell me how easy it is to see what's inside Stagecoach depots in London (for numbers). Is it a waste of effort to go to any of them?

    Future of the 350/2s

If that could be stretched to 30 ... Scotrail could use them on the Fife Circle when the electrification work is finished.

Might consider that in future. I use Ibis Stratford which is 5-10 minute walk from Stratford station so great for getting anywhere in London reasonably quickly. Also gives views of Heathrow landings if things are coming from the east. Usually around £70 a night for Accor All members.

    South Wales 'Metro' updates

Will the 398s still be battery powered between Queen St and Butetown? If so, why will that section not be electrified?

Euston to Glasgow central - interesting sights out of the window

I'll add Hawswater Dam Face just after Shap heading north. I only noticed it myself for the first time this year despite going up and down the West Coast since the 1970s!

    Merseyrail Day Saver 'areas'

Thanks. I knew I had read somewhere that there were issues with some Merseyrail tickets . Sounds like the SaveAway bought here is the solution. Many thanks.

    Merseyrail Day Saver 'areas'

May I ask a related question? I'm currently planning a trip from Edinburgh and the intention is to change at Preston and get the DMU from there to Ormskirk. I then want to use a day saver for the rest of the day. If I buy the ticket online, do I need to print it off at a TVM or do I just show...

Glasgow to Newcastle "LNER & Connections" Advance ticket: valid on any "connecting" service to Edinburgh?

The fare between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen St is the same. Scotrail only has one return fare since the removal of peak restrictions. You can travel on any train.

Can anyone share where the out-of-service units are stored? Allerton and Newton Heath? Is there a list?

    Northern Class 331: Construction/Introduction Updates

I went passed Edge Hill on Friday and wrote down 331012 466012 and 463013. Is that possible? (i.e was it possible for both 331012 and 331112 to be there.) I think it was 466112 which didn't have any set number on the nose. Just for the record Allerton had 331004, 331007 and 195123. On...
