Then I think you're undoubtedly doing nothing wrong.
For what it's worth, I would think it likely that he hasn't consulted his manager, and close to negligible are the chances of him being accompanied by said manager next time you travel, on the off chance they're both on shift and you choose...
I wonder if this apparent misunderstanding lies in the fact that they replaced carnets. Would carnets have been valid in this way? They were effectively bulk-bought Anytime Returns and did not allow unlimited travel on the day of use. They were not seasons, but have been replaced by a ticket...
The Bakerloo line seems to be alone in running every couple of minutes and virtually empty... so I am doing Marylebone-Paddington-Liverpool St rather than Baker St-Liverpool St. Baker Street has some very long gaps in service still
How is the resumption of service going since the nominal 1159 resumption? Planning to use the H&C/Circle between Baker Street and Liverpool Street at around 4pm, but happy to use Bakerloo and Central if it's any better. I naively expected things to be returning to normal by late afternoon!
I...
If the answer is barely at all, then two coaches per train have been removed for specious reasons, and again passengers suffer from poor decision making.
Then again, in a retrograde world where 5 and 7 car trains are running to places like Newcastle and Leeds, why would LNER be too concerned...
As per the recent Registration of Charge the 321s and 325 (if purchased) are "Secured Trains", that is to say the debt financing is secured against those assets.
If those backers are able/decide to call in the debt, the trains would revert to them on paper, but if there are substantial debts...
Indeed not, but we can blame LNER for ditching them without seemingly being able to achieve the objective of removing them. If @Railperf can explain in detail why it could never work then why did they think otherwise?
Well I for one saw this coming a mile off and stated so on here, and was told they had done all the modelling and testing they needed.
I'd say they might as well put the two coaches back in the sets and accept small delays for the sake of capacity but they have already sold or scrapped them all...
They filed their accounts to the year ending 30th June 2025 in March which are available from Companies House. I'm not going to try to disseminate them as accounts never tell the full story, but they do show £1.1 million of creditors falling due within twelve months and £87 in the bank.
Those...
I have quite frequently travelled from Cambridge to Stratford (and onward into London) routed and booked via Ipswich on GA advances for as little as £10.50. Always felt like it was very good value being able to be used that way but not a howling anomaly, and I am very sad that the option has...
379030 has just arrived at Hornsey from Selhurst, running as 5Q79, hauled by 57305.

Wrong line no less. It appears to be in the process of traversing the crossover west of the station, presumably to overtake a stopping service in P2 (presumably an EMU by then but could be a 101 which lingered a little while longer serving the villages).
I can't remember dates but I recall peak...
You are quite right, I didn't notice it on my recent visit. In the well heeled Roman city of Deva no less! Perhaps sited for passing trade from racegoers.

Fair enough - it would be the...
As one of the concessions in the station itself? I've used all three recently and can't say I've ever seen one, and a Google Maps search also suggests there are bookies outside or opposite, but not nestled among the Upper Crust, M&S Food and WHSmith!
I must say this is something I've never seen before. Filling the units is a must as the empty concourse attracts all sorts of characters, but is this really the best they can do?
There is a lot of criticism locally, including the local MP, and word that the units are empty because tenants have...
Do TGV power cars have any kind of emergency egress in the cab's rear bulkhead? I remember the driver of 43173 at Southall survived by retreating into the engine room, albeit his power car took a more glancing blow and he had some time to anticipate what was about to happen. The structure...
For some years until December 2024, one could travel from Sunderland to Kings Cross departing to the north or to the south, but the LNER service has been cut short to start at Newcastle, as it did before the once daily extension.
