  • Hi, I've read your thread about your failure to purchase notice and I'm in a very similar situation myself. Last year I had to pay a fixed penalty charge of £80, so they already have my details on their system, and today I've received a failure to purchase notice as I mistakenly believed the ticket office was closed. I paid the outstanding fare on the IRCAS website around half an hour after I received the notice, and my details weren't flagged as a recurring offender neither when he rang them in, nor when I was paying the fare online. I'm wondering if this will be the end of it or if I'll receive a letter in a few weeks summoning me to court as a repeat offender. After you paid the outstanding fare was that the end of the matter or did you hear from them again? Thanks in advance.
