He may be able to recommend a solicitor to use for example.

U could ask your union to help?
Or try the citizens advice bureau - they can be hit and miss but some v good advisers.
Or hire a solicitor.
Standing up to FCC could be stressful but will probably be your word against theirs, and long as you come across well in court you probably will not be found guilty. Also if u tell them u are willing to go to court they may well back down.
