You can add to your list of visiting traction- DEMU 1001 was hired by Northern approx 25 years ago and worked the Whitby branch exclusively for a good few months! You can also add class 119 to the list, used during the 'Pacer crisis' in the late '80s. I'm 99% certain class 105 reached Whitby too. HTIOU

Keep up the good work with Part Time Spotter. I appreciate it and I suspect many others do. There is loads I wish you could do but it is not your fault there is only one of you !. It is a toss up between new fleets and the ebbing of declining fleets. I try to ignore that which is approaching the cutters torch - no Westerns to agonise over nowadays !.

And remember there will always be moaners I am afraid.
