Passenger Assistance App

All I want to ask is - After you are checked in by a train station staff member on the Passenger Assistance App (upon arrival at the station before your journey) are no reminders/alerts sent to staff to remind them to help you and not forget you?

I don’t feel able to discuss further at present why I am asking this.

Passenger Assist won't send notifications for onboard staff, they have to search for the train where it'll show what and where passenger assist bookings are. I'm not sure how it works for 'logged in' station staff.

Hi thank you very much for the reply. I’ve just realised my original post wasn’t very clear sorry. When I typed it I was trying to find out how the App works for logged in station staff but of course it’s really great to hear how it works for onboard train crew too.

Staff can choose to enable notifications to remind them x minutes before assistance is due.

I don’t think the act of checking in influences notifications. When you check someone in it adds a green flag to the booking saying “Passenger arrived” (and there is also the option to add detail like “lady in red coat sat in waiting area” which could be useful for larger stations.
